Your adventure kicks off after breakfast on day two, with a steady trek leading deeper into the wilds of Shamshy Gorge. Following the Tuyuk River, you'll ascend through alpine meadows and forested slopes, the air crisp and full of the scent of pine. Along the way, the landscape opens up to reveal the stunning peaks of the Ketse Kelbes range. Keep an eye out for wild mountain goats grazing on the rocky cliffs. After a full day of trekking, you'll set up camp beneath the stars, resting for the night at 2,250 meters in the peaceful embrace of the mountains.

Wake up to the crisp mountain air on day three, with the sun slowly warming the landscape around you. After breakfast, continue your ascent, climbing higher toward Kol-Tor Lake, which sits at a striking 2,733 meters. The path grows steeper, but the reward is worth every step. As you crest the mountain ridge, the lake appears—a shimmering turquoise gem nestled in a bowl of rugged peaks. It's a view that will stop you in your tracks.

The trail winds down through dense forests and along the rushing Kol-Tor River, with the towering peaks gradually fading into the distance. Reaching the Kegety Mountain Guest House, your driver awaits to take you back to Bishkek. The drive is short, but the transition from the wild mountain landscapes to the city brings a sense of quiet reflection.
