We contacted Reality Tours (recommended in Lonely Planet) to help us organise a two-week trip from Mumbai to Goa and Kerala for my husband, our 14-year-old son and myself. This was the best decision ever! They reply to our email a few hours later, we had a couple of meetings on line and soon after, we had an itinerary organised. Getting in touch with them at every stage of the planning and journey was easy and efficient. Krishna and Dhaval, the tour organisers, were amazing!

I worked with Krishna to design a custom tour for me and my 2 kids as a high-school graduation present. I wanted them to see the full breadth of the Indian experience and Reality Tours delivered. We explored Mumbai, Kerala, Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan over 3 weeks. From local village meals, houseboats, wild elephants, tea plantations, palaces, forts and rooftoop restaurants to mystic sites, Dharavi, temples of every faith, cultural performances and behind the scenes restaurant kitchen tours - we saw it all. Krishna's team consisted of high energy and knowledgeable local guides who were there to take you as deep into the Indian adventure that you wanted to go. This was a trip of a lifetime for me and my kids and I am pleased I worked with Reality Tours to make this vision come to life. There was no cookie cutter approach and every little detail could be customized for our experience - and best of all is the low hassle no shopping guarantee that leaves you with a no pressure trip! After doing the Dharavi streettour (which was a great experience) and travelling on our own from Mumbai to Kovalam, we decided to ask realitytours to put together a customised programme of 10 days from Kovalam back to Mumbai.

The owner (Mr Pujari) put together a great programme with all our wishes in mind. We had a private driver with knowledge of Kerala to accompany us for 5 days, arranged trains, and the most idyllic accommodations on route. The must see highlights on our stops were carefully selected and absolutely gorgeous!

Mr Pujari suggested to stay for a few days at his hometown to experience local life in Udupi-district Karnataka. We agreed and were a houseguest with him and his family. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

Realitytours does not just simply pick touristspots that everyone knows, but also makes sure to do it in a responsible way that is sustainable and gives back to the community. It shows India in a way that let's you experience the local life, which in our humble opinion is what travelling is all about. We visited community projects such as a farm, local restaurants with the best food, and a school in his hometown.

The whole experience was perfect! We highly recommend realitytours and especially the service, expertise and hospitality of Mr Pujari!
