Painting in France

Painting in France is run by the husband-and-wife team Simon and Monica.

Simon is a watercolour artist based in the south of France. His wife Monica is a wonderful cook, organiser and gatherer of facts about the local area. Our aim is to create Painting and Tasting holidays that you will never forget. It is really important to us that you leave your time with us enriched, through what you have seen, learned, experienced and tasted.

Through detailed research of our locations both in France and abroad, we really want to take you to places you would not necessarily have found yourselves or been a little daunted to explore.

Some of our painting locations are located on wine, olive or goat farms where you will have the opportunity to both paint, meet local producers and taste their produce.

Out holidays include accommodation, meals, transport and materials, so all you have to worry about it is enjoying yourself.

Simon is passionate about teaching and he has an encouraging teaching style that really helps build his student’s confidence.

We have been operating since 2018 and since then about half our travellers every year return.

We like to say, people arrive as strangers and return as friends.
