Accommodation

All of our guesthouse accommodation is handpicked to provide a balance of comfort, good service, local atmosphere and value for money. We have chosen a selection of locally operated guesthouses that provide comfortable clean rooms, friendly service and good food. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, AC, ceiling fans and complimentary WiFi, whilst water, tea and coffee is always available. Most of the guesthouses are single or double story comprised of an average of 10 rooms. They are often built around a private garden or with a sun terrace and all offer private tourist bikini beach areas, in each you can be assured of a warm welcome.
Expert guiding

One of our local tour leaders accompanies you throughout your tour allowing access to experiences most guests visiting the Maldives will not encounter. You can travel safely in the knowledge that you are in capable hands, all our team are certified in the care and safety of guests holding First Emergency Response and Lifeguard certification.
Local transport

We prioritise public ferries and scheduled speedboats wherever possible , a lower-carbon alternative to private transfers. This not only reduces emissions but also supports local operators and keeps travel costs affordable through standard local fares.
All meals

Breakfast and dinner are generally included in your stay, allowing you to enjoy authentic Maldivian and international flavours. On arrival day, dinner may be excluded to provide flexibility for guests arriving on late evening flights.

Generally, not required for the tours and cruises we operate.
Local support

All our tours and cruises are led by a dedicated Secret Paradise Maldives local tour leader. You’ll receive personalised assistance during the booking process and trip preparation from our office team, and in-country support from the moment you arrive until the moment we wave you goodbye.

Fantastic Way to See the Real Maldives!! After 3 relaxing days at a private resort island, we were ready for something different. The infinity pool, buffet, pampering, and fellow tourists were all fun, but we were ready to see the real Maldives. We took Secret Paradise's 7-night North Ari Island Hopping tour.

Good email communication with the office (Ruth). Everything was as represented or better. dependable greetings, connections, transportation, etc. per their itinerary. great itinerary to 3 lesser-developed inhabited atoll islands. Good balance between included activites, optional activities, and free time. Good pace of 2 nights on each island. fantastic guide, Kokko. He was informative, kind, and fun, and did much more than the minimum. authentic experience of local Maldivian life. Not a cushy resorty tour, just the real deal. excellent coral, diverse colorful tropical fish, 10-20 meter visibilty underwater.

I was hesitant to go to the Maldives because i am not a person who likes to go to resorts but more of a traveler who is interested in local culture. Once i found Secret Paradise i decided that i can experience what i like in the Maldives. The communication via email was amazing every question was answered and i asked a lot. The tour i did was to 5 islands and sleeping on 3 my guide Kokko was more like a friend then a guide. I am pretty independent so i felt we had a good balance he travelled with me for 7 days and i can WhatsApp him anytime for guidance or to meet. He helped facilitate additional tours for me even a resort visit. Also the hotels they pick are uniuqe. If u want to see the real Maldives Secret Paradise is your best option and affordable.

The real Maldives...if you want an experience you will never forget put your trust in Ruth and Secret Paradise Maldive Tours. Tailor make as many days as you wish. Visit the wonderful islands of Maafushi, Gulfi and Guraidhoo. Mix with locals, feel part of the customs, culture and individuality of each island. Relax or be as active or inactive as you wish. swim, snorkel and be daring even learn to scuba dive in the most glorious locations... I loved my time in the Maldives. Highly recommend this company.
