Kenya Treks organises tailor-made walking safaris on Mount Kenya for groups or individuals who are looking for a mountain wilderness adventure. All trips are personalised itineraries without set departure dates. We have an experienced mountain team who will do their utmost to ensure your trip is as safe and enjoyable as possible. You can combine your mountain trip with a safari either in one of the neighbouring conservancies such as Ol Pejeta, or in a national reserve such as Samburu, a few hours drive from Mount Kenya.

This was probably the best holiday we’ve had.
The expedition up Mount Kenya was everything we had hoped for. The Chogoria route provided stunning scenery and flora (as well as an elephant and buffalo on the way). The whole team including the porters were friendly and supportive and did everything to ensure we were looked after, comfortable and made it to the summit.

Located in Nanyuki, just under 20 miles from Mount Kenya National Park, Soames Hotel boasts cosy accommodation, scenic garden and terrace, a shared lounge and restaurant.
