Acclimbatize

Acclimbatize is an independently owned and managed outdoor adventure activities provider, ideally located in the White Peak area of Derbyshire close to Matlock. Many of their activities utilise the natural environments within the Peak District National Park.

They offer a range of activities including climbing and abseiling, with indoor climbing walls available for colder months, canoeing, kayaking and raft building as well as orienteering, gorge scrambling and caving.

Operational since 1999, they create meaning from the adventurous activities they provide by placing strong emphasis on team work, engagement and co-operation. Their approach is defined by a policy of ‘Challenge by Choice’. Participants on courses are positively encouraged and actively supported to achieve their best personal level of challenge. They believe in giving people the space to build and extend their own confidence in a socially acceptable environment that supports learning for all.

They also offer a range of dedicated adventure skills, progression and accredited training courses.
