An Arabian adventure from Petra to Wadi Rum in southern Jordan allows you to experience some of the country’s historical, archaeological and geographical highlights. Start by taking in the architectural sights of the ancient stone-carved city of Petra. It’s best experienced on foot and the Al Khubtha trail offers incredible views of both the ancient city and the surrounding landscape. Then, head south to the Wadi Rum valley and weave through the sandstone siqs (canyons) and into the sunset on a pickup truck safari. Extend this trip by continuing south to the coastal city of Aqaba for a spot of Red Sea snorkelling.
