Thank you Charles/Pamoja Safaris for accommodating my last minute request to travel to Western Uganda with my family. Tom (our tour guide/driver) was very knowledgeable and a very good animal spotter. He even stopped during the road trips so we can take pictures! The boat ride along Lake Buyonyi was such an amazing experience and the view was breathtaking. We also visited Fort Portal and hiked the Amabere ganyina Miru Cave and hill. To end the trip, we visited Semiliki National Park where we got to relax and enjoy the hot springs. We really enjoyed seeing the beautiful sights and views of Western Uganda. The only improvement I would suggest is having better meal options next time around as we found the meal options included in the itinerary were very limited. Overall, the trip was amazing and I couldn’t thank Pamoja Safaris/Charles/Tom enough for making it happen. We will definitely use them again for future safari trips

We had a great once in a lifetime experience with Pamoja Safaris 3 weeks in Uganda. Charles is the best tourguide one can imagine. He showed us not only the touristic highlights of his beautiful country, but allowed us also a view behind the curtain. We visited autentic small villages and restaurants, nobody would find without his deep knowledge of the area. Charles knows a lot and taught us about the flora and fauna of africa. Although everything was perfectly organized and prepared it was never a problem to change plans due to our upcoming ideas. Thank your so much Charles for your kind and pleasant guidance.

Charles is a lovely guide and very knowledgeable about the area. He is very passionate about conservation, the community and education. I heard a lot about the school he runs and his hopes for improving the area.
Charles took care of everything. My only complaint is that because he likes to talk so much he didn't necessarily listen well to what I really wanted to do. I think we should have had better communication about the schedule and how I wanted to use the time. That is also largely on me, but I am relatively shy person, so I don't necessarily say what I want when confronted by a larger personality like Charles.
I would definitely recommend Charles for anyone who wants a nice tour and wants to help the local community. He is doing great work.

I booked a last minute 5 day trip with Pamoja Safaris/Charles, whilst staying in Kigali in Feb 2020. Charles created a bespoke tour of Rwanda and Uganda that took in all the things I wanted to see along with many other great suggestions. Charles knowledge of both countries, was fantastic and his advice on what else to see made for an authentic and varied trip. His organisation of the trip was bril liant, all I had to do was enjoy the sights. Highly recommended.

I have personally traveled to over 90 countries and I was excited to see the Gorillas but did not know much about Uganda, or have high expectations of what I would find there. The Gorillas were obviously the highlight but the whole trip and experiance in Uganda exceeded all our expectations.
Our trip was flawlessly organised and our guide (Charles) was excellent.
The accommodation was thoughtfully chosen and met or exceed our expectations every night.
We will not forget our trip to Uganda and will be recommending Uganda, and Pamoja tours to our friends.
