The Peak Karakol hike is a rewarding two to three-day hike up Karakol mountain - providing stunning views of the surrounding Issyk-Kul region. Starting and ending in the town of Karakol, this trek involves remote camping for accommodation.
This trail winds through lush alpine meadows and coniferous forests before ascending to the peak, standing over 3,000 metres above sea level. The climb is steep but manageable for hikers with a moderate fitness level, and the summit's panoramic view is worth the effort.
