Experience the incredible beauty and fascinating history of Kenya’s coastline. Start in the country’s oldest city, Mombasa, in Kenya’s south-east corner, and wander around the architectural highlights of its Old Town. Then, head north up the Swahili Coast for some relaxation at the beautiful white sands and crystal clear waters of the beaches at Watamu. From here, continue up the coast to the original Swahili settlement of Lamu, on Lamu Island, where you can experience more fascinating history and even take a trip out into the Indian Ocean on a traditional dhow boat.
