Iskanderkul

A glacial lake in the mountains of Tajikstan, located in the Gissar Range popular for swimming, boat rides and star-gazing.

Although there is almost no fish life in the lake, so no fishing or snorkelling here, there is a wide array of bird life, with the surrounding area being classed as a nature reserve.
