Take a kayak across Lake Titicaca, passing fish farms and water birds as you make your way to Isla Taquile or Isla Amantaní. In the last few years, more companies have been offering kayak trips on Titicaca, and it’s the perfect way to see the lake. Just be prepared for some serious exertion: at 12,500 feet above sea level, rowing can quickly become a real physical challenge.
