Freycinet National Park
Covering a large area of the Freycinet Peninsular, the national park encompasses areas undisturbed by humans, protected historical sites and an extensive, rugged coastline.
With highlights including the curved white sand beach of Wineglass Bay as well as the pink tinted Hazards mountain range, Freycinet offers opportunities for activities like hiking and kayaking as well as taking time to relax on the beaches.
A number of endemic species live within Freycinet National Park as well as sugar gliders, echidnas, possums and wombats, with an abundance of birds passing through.
